:snowing: Yes, it snows in Columbus. Although not nearly enough for my taste. :D

A special urgent request for ~irishelysia, who is in need of pictures of Columbus and what it has to offer. To quote her request, "We're basically studying how to sell/brand/etc the city and remove the cowtown stigma." If you are unfamiliar with Columbus, OH, some people do call it "Cowlumbus". So a series of High Street and the South Campus Gateway, which was planned and built to replace the blight south of the Ohio State University Campus.

And yeah, so she requested 2 or 3 pictures. But you don't expect me to load a series of just 2 or 3 pictures, so you? :evillaugh:

its a shame the gateways so small and on either side there's practically nothing. but the snow gets your attention in this picture. great photograph.

yar me too, i dont remember what was there before, when i first came to town it was all big empty dirt fields hehe. supposedly there were really many theres down there isnt it? ah well. seems pricey but looks nice. if it was a girl id have to expect to have to pay for a 100 dollar meal. but then i probably wouldnt have taken her out in the first place. ;)

The blocks were covered in really horrid looking bars. It was ugly and full of blight. I remember thinking it looked so much better as empty dirt fields. :lol:

I'm really fond of the Happy Greek. You can get great food and a lot of it isn't expensive at all. :hungry:

hmm havent actually been to the happy greek. i do go to apollos every now and then though. theyre ok. kinda fast foody.
